Hosting in Germany
This website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. For its Webspace package, the provider uses IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, as a technical service provider. According to united-domains, the servers are located in Germany.
Technical access data
When you access the website, connection data needed to deliver its content is processed. The hosting provider states that the requested page or file, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, access time and anonymised IP address are retained for eight weeks for security and stability. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of this website.
Cookies and locally provided content
Our website does not embed analytics or marketing services or social media plugins. Images, fonts and documents are loaded from our own website. The website code sets no cookies and stores no visitor profiles. The hosting provider indicates that technically necessary cookies may be used. Where storage is strictly necessary to provide the requested service, it is governed by Section 25(2) of the German TDDDG; any related processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact by email
Email links open your own email application. If you write to us, we process your sender and contact details, message content and information required for communication. This serves to respond to your enquiry under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR or, for enquiries concerning a contract with you, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The email service providers used for sending and storage may receive this information. Data is deleted when the enquiry has been resolved and no statutory retention duties or legitimate grounds for further retention apply.
Links and public documents
Accessing our PDF documents is covered by the same hosting information as the rest of the website. External websites open only when you follow the relevant link. The other provider’s privacy information then applies.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability under Articles 15 to 20 GDPR. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the place of your habitual residence, place of work or the suspected infringement. The authority for Saxony is the Saxon Commissioner for Data Protection and Transparency.
Right to object
Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation under Article 21 GDPR. Contact foundation@para-gon.org. We will assess your objection and stop the processing concerned unless overriding grounds provided for by law apply.
Providing data and automated decisions
Technical connection data is necessary to access the website. Information in an email is provided voluntarily; without the information needed to handle an enquiry, we may be unable to respond. This information website uses no automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects and no profiling.
